My Little Underground with Crocodiles - An Interview

***** Interview with Crocodiles *****

Q. When did Crocodiles starts, tell us about the history...
Brandon and I started the band in San Diego during 2008. Everything else we had been involved in musically had fallen apart or become terribly tedious. We decided to write a song, press a record and book a tour at once. We did and so it all began.

Q: Who are your influences?
Are influences are everything under the sun from the Patti Smith to Jean Genet, from The Ramones to Frida Kahlo. Our bread and butter so to speak, is sixties songwriting craft.

Q. Made a list of 5 albuns of all time…
The Adverts - Crossing The Red Sea
The Ramones - Ramones
John Lennon - Plastic Ono Band
Lou Reed - Transformer
Bad Brains - yellow album

Q. How do you fell playing alive?
It feels great. I can't speak for the crowd though in some parts of the world they seem to really enjoy it.

Q. How do you describe Crocodiles sounds?
Well written psychedelic glam steady.

Q: Tell us about the process of recording the abuns?
Not usually first but we always choose a studio or at least a place in the world where we want to record. We then decide if we'd like someone to produce it with us. After that we begin compiling our songs and fine tuning them. Once we're actually in the studio we have a strong sense of what were trying to accomplish and the feel we want to inject.

Q. Which new bands do you recommended?
Punks On Mars, Heavy Hawaii, Plateaus, Colleen Green

Q: Which bands you love to made a cover version?
I wouldn't mind covering the entire first Damned album.

Q: What´s the plans for future....
We are recording our fourth album in Los Angeles in March then we will begin touring again after that.

Q: Any parting words?
Keep your dreams.
