This Other Kingdom was born in 2012. We released an EP called Sunlight in April 2013 and are about to release our debut album 'Telescopic'
Q: Who are your influences?
We all love 60s music to modern day Psych Rock and Post Punk. The likes of Love, The Doors, Savages, Joy Division, The Velvet Underground etc

Q. How do you feel playing live?
It's a great rush. There's no better feeling.
Q. How do you describe This Other Kingdom sounds?
We mix a cocktail of psychedelia with post punk.
Q: Tell us about the process of recording the songs?
We had a bunch of songs to choose from and decided on 11. We then booked a studio and went for it. It's a long process to get the results you want but it's worth every minute.
Q. Which new bands do you recommended

Q: Which bands would you love to make a cover version of?
We have been chatting about covers and are trying not to pick obvious ones. I would love to do Edwyn Collins - A Girl Like You. I think it would fit in our set
Q: What´s the plan for the future....
We want to get this album out and hope to play it in as many countries as possible. It's always been a goal to bring it to different countries.

Our album Telescopic is out April 11th. Through iTunes, Bandcamp and will be released April 18th on vinyl. GET IT!
